This is a residential neighbourhood with a zero party policy. Excessive noise or disturbance to neighbours will result in your reservation being cancelled without refund.
There is a sensor inside the home. This is NOT a camera or recording device. It only collects information on noise levels, the environment (temperature and humidity) and occupancy (motion and the number of mobile devices in the vicinity). It does not record raw audio. The data is only presented as graphs and numbers, not images or recordings.
The charming inner southside suburb of Highgate Hill is sought after for its leafy historic streets, gracious Queenslanders, beautiful vistas, river frontage and proximity to West End and Brisbane CBD, Home to cool cafes and a bakery in old converted stores, funky little bars, gorgeous pocket parks and Brisbane’s first highrise residential apartment, Highgate Hill is a great suburb to take a neighbourhood stroll and explore.
Things to do
– Boundary Street West End is the place to be for all things entertainment, with bars and plenty of live venues nearby.
– Highgate Hill is close to Southbank, so go for a swim on the beach. Yep! That’s right, Southbank has an artificial swimming beach right in the middle of the city. You won’t find any surf, but there’s no sharks or riptides either, so probably the safest beach to practice on if you’re not local.
– Local Markets catering for all kinds of dietary requirements. Free range, organic, ethical trade and vegan + vegetarian options are in abundance.
The Bicentennial Bikeway runs right through West End, so if you’re feeling particularly fit, try the 20km Loop of dedicated Cycling and Running track, car-free since 2008 (OK fine, there was never any cars on it).
